We are holding another Sewing Contest!
After seeing the Flower Power Flora In Fashion exhibit at The Ohio Decorative Arts Center of Ohio, located at 145 E Main Street in Lancaster, Ohio, we knew we needed to get on the ball. The exhibit runs until April 23, 2023, and the collection is on display thanks to The Ohio State Historical Garment Collection.
To enter, go to the exhibit, and take a photo of yourself next to the garment or accessory you chose for inspiration. Send that to studo@sewinghive.com to lock in your entry by March 25th.
You have until April 22 at 3 pm to finish your item and bring it to The Sewing Hive. We will have a weekend showing off the garments, which a panel of seamstresses will judge.
On April 23rd, the winner will be announced and photographed with their creation for our newsletter and will receive a $250 gift certificate to the Sewing Hive to be used within six months. Item can be a garment or accessory.
The contest requires at least 3 participants to register, or it will be canceled. We will be in touch to let you know once we’ve received the required number of contestants.
