Sewing for the greater good:
Let’s have some fun as we get together to sew for those in need.
One of the Columbus, Ohio hospitals could use your help. Martha West, one of our teachers sews with the Riverside Hospital Sewing Guild. She let us know about the consistent need for Chemo Caps for patients who have lost their hair through chemotherapy or sometimes brain injury or brain surgery that causes significant hair loss. The caps are easy and quick to sew!
There is no charge for the session, and we'll show you how to put the caps together.
If you are nervous about sewing, you can help by cutting out the fabric in preparation for sewing.
