Jackie Farbeann:
Jackie is a proud The Ohio State University graduate with a B.A. in theatre and holds a Certificate in Textile Conservation from the International Preservation Studies Center (formerly the Campbell Center). Her interests in sewing have led her in many different directions, including bridal work, alterations, repair of firefighting gear, and manufacturing corporate mascots. She has costumed many local theatrical productions over the past 15 years, most recently Mama Mia for Pickerington North High School, and since 2008, has had the privilege of doing conservation for the Ohio State Historic Costume and Textile Collection. In addition to her love of sharing her creative skills, she has an abiding love for all animals.
Jackie teaches Complete Guide To Your Machine’s Features, How To Use Your Serger, Clothing Alterations, Gown Alterations, Hand Embroidery, the Adult Skill Builders Classes, Adults One On One, Garment Skill Building, and Skill Builders Courses 1 and 2. She also does Vintage Quilt Repair.
