The Cielo Top and Dress is a tried-and-true pattern that features a boxy tee and a shift dress. It is loaded with interesting details and interchangeable features. This pattern is a true workhorse. It can be made of many woven fabric types, resulting in different looks. It’s a great next step after you’ve completed Stitch, Style, Create 2: Beginner Level Clothes. This pattern is a great option if you’ve longed to make a woven tee or simple dress out of gorgeous quilting cotton!

The student will choose the style of top or dress they wish to make and sew it over two 3-hour sessions.

The pattern comes in a huge size range: 31” – 66” Bust and 33” – 69” Hip. If you fall outside of this size range, please get in touch with the studio before registering for the class.

Skill level: Advanced beginner. Completion of Stitch, Style, Create 2: Beginner Level Clothes or equivalent.

 Light to medium-weight woven fabric such as chambray, cotton shirting, cotton lawn, rayon, and cotton eyelet. We linked some examples that Closet Core has in this list, but you can also find these types of fabrics in local stores.
