Michelle Thomas began sewing at the age of 10. Her grandmother and aunts were very good seamstresses, and she picked up the bug to create things by watching their creations come to life. Michelle has a long history of teaching sewing in the Columbus area and an even longer history of growing up and living in Clintonville. On top of teaching sewing, Michelle is a 5th-grade teacher, mom, wife, and lover of all things crafty. Michelle likes to make sure students get a good foundation of techniques. By teaching skills that add to their sewing toolbox, the student’s abilities grow and their confidence to try new and challenging projects.
She teaches Stitch-Style-Create 1, Stitch-Style-Create Jr, Tote Bags, Kids Bags, Kids Hoodies, Stitch-Style-Create Jr Clothes, Beginner Quilts, Sunrise Quilts, Kids Camps, Intro and Intro for Kids, Unicorn Pillow, Patchwork Pillow, Ilford Shirt, PJ Pants, Girls Skirt Class and Private One-On-One Kids Classes.
