Sustainability through sewing is a great way to leave a smaller footprint on the environment and your budget! That’s why Jackie and Michelle put this program together.
Saturday, March 15, from 11am-1pm.
You’ll learn to hem jeans, fix worn spots, and sew patches.
This session will consist of a demonstration by Jackie Farbeann, a professional instructor, corporate mascot seamstress, and theatre costume creator.
After the demonstration, we will break out into groups and practice the techniques with hands-on guidance from Jackie, Michelle, and other studio instructors.
Bring your clothes that need to be mended, your machine, or hand-sewing supplies.
Adults 18 and up, with a bit of sewing experience and clothes to mend.
