5 Lessons: Each lesson is 2 1/2-3 hours. (We go at YOUR pace)

Do you still have a sewing machine in the box because you don’t know how to use it? These lessons are designed for the absolute beginner, and they take you from not understanding your machine to being able to sew basic projects independently.

You will make a standard-sized Pillowcase, Drawstring, Zipper Bag, Lounge Pants, or Shorts and sew essential beginner-level skills samples as you learn to read a commercial pattern, get the correct measurements, and pick fabrics for future projects.

All materials, patterns, and booklets with written instructions are included in the course price.

You’ll need to bring:
fabric shears,

Practice Kits! We’ve included in our shop practice kits if there’s something you’d like to make again. Make it at home or bring it to a Meetup Night.

Five 2.5-3 hour classes, $315 per student.
This includes all the materials and notions and an optional three passes to practice sewing at Friday Night Monthly Meetups. (Meetups are Open Sewing Events on the first Friday of each month from 6-9 pm. If this date falls on a holiday, the date will be substituted for the following Friday.)

Registration Options:
1. Select from the date/time options in the dropdown menu.
2. Semi-private options have a two-student minimum requirement to register. Once you register for a semi-private class, we will email you to coordinate a time and date that works for everyone.
3. Private options are One-On-One classes with you and the instructor only. The price is $515

Bring your machine or rent one of ours with the standard and zipper foot attachments that came with the machine.
