This new 5-week series is for ages 9-15 who have already taken the Stitch-Style-Create JR., or equivalent and are ready to take it to the next level in garment making!

The series price includes a notebook with written and visual instructions for students to take home and keep. Homework projects will be provided for practice and are not mandatory but encouraged.
Students will be the “designer” in selecting and purchasing fabrics and will be given direction on fabric choices using the labeled fabric swatches from their previous series. Also included are written handouts, patterns, and any notions required.
Projects include a t-shirt, pants or shorts, skirts, and a robe or beach cover-up.
If you have other clothing projects to work on, just let us know, and we can “tailor’ the class to your sewing wishes. Students will work at their own pace with guidance from the teacher.

SKILLS THEY WILL GAIN:
how to sew with knits, draft a simple skirt, use a clothing pattern, hem, finish seams, and more

BRING TO CLASS:
fabrics, all-purpose thread, sewing tools and a sewing machine.
Bring 1 1/2 yards of medium-weight woven fabric for the first project, a skirt or shorts.

Homework consists of practicing skills learned in classes, encouraged, but not mandatory.

The price is $250 for five sessions, and private lessons are available at $500 for one-on-one between instructor and student.

There is a maximum of 4 students per session if semi-private or scheduled dates.
